Mensa
Bulletin
The
magazine, sent out to all members ten times a year as a part membership, has
everything from letters, gatherings, and member news to puzzles, wordplay, and
book reviews. Also included in the Bulletin is the Mensa
International Journal.
Special
Interest Groups (SIGs)
One
of the most gratifying benefits of your Mensa membership is participation in a
national special interest group, through which you can correspond with members
everywhere who share your interests. Many SIGs also communicate through
newsletters and online. From Autism to Zydeco, you will find many Mensans
with similar interests.
Three national/international special interest groups: Lightning SIG, Science Fiction & Fantasy SIG, and TeenSIG, are run by members of Permian Basin Mensa.

Three-year and five-year enrollment programs are available (three-year
$15; five-year $25).
SAM'S
Club
Offers
American Mensa members pre-qualified membership. You may purchase an
individual Advantage Membership for an annual fee of just $35 (plus
sales tax where applicable). Your SAM'S Club Advantage membership
includes a card for yourself and a complimentary spouse card that will
be issued to your spouse or any member of your immediate family over the
age of 18 living in the same household.
United
Artists
In
some states, United Artists offers the opportunity to purchase movie
tickets, imprinted with your local group's name, for $4.50 each (book of
50 required as minimum purchase). We are researching other movie chain
discounts to accommodate all local groups.
